 Any graduating senior who is interested in pursuing a career in in or in support of the home building industry is encouraged to apply for this scholarship.  Applications are due by April 1st, 2021.

Ty Reed Memorial Scholarship

The Reed family of Social Circle has established a scholarship in memory of Ty Reed, who passed away in his senior year in 1993.  Ty was an exceptional young man, and the family has honored over 95 exceptional students with funding for a college education over the years.  Seniors who are interested in applying for this scholarship must turn in the completed application no later than April 22, 2021 to Mr. Kulp in the Guidance Office.

The David Skinner GDA Scholarship

 This scholarship application is made available to any senior who plans on pursuing a degree in an agriculture related field.  The application is due by May 3rd, 2021.

SAT and ACT Test Dates Spring and Summer 2021

While many colleges waived testing requirements for the 21-21 academic year, this test optional policy does not apply to every student. 

You or your student may need to test... 

- To qualify for the Zell Miller Scholarship. Must graduate with at least a 3.7, and qualifying test score (1200 SAT or 26 ACT) 

-  In the event minimum GPA for college admissions is not met, minimum test scores may be needed for admissions 

- For course placement 

Juniors: NOW is the time to register for the SAT/ACT. Please see Ms. Fleeman if you have questions or need any assistance. You/your student may qualify for a fee waiver. emaleigh.fleeman@socialcircleschools.org 

Georgia Energy and Industrial Construction Consortium Scholarship

One of five $1000 scholarships will be awarded to seniors who are interested in a career involving science, math, engineering or technology.  This scholarship application is due by March 14th, 2021.

 Don't miss out! Five $5,000 Legacy Student Scholarships are given in honor of past and present Board members and employees who have served Peach State for 20 years or more.  They will be awarded to high school seniors who are pursuing a college degree in any field. You can find the application here.  ***The scholarship committee is aware that many colleges are waiving SAT and ACT scores due to the current COVID pandemic.  In light of this situation, they have decided that they will also waive this requirement for all of their student scholarships.  This includes the five Legacy Student Scholarships as well as the School System & Community Honoree Scholarships.  Students will not need to include a copy of these scores when submitting their applications.***

DKG Grant-in-Aid Application

 Each year, Gamma Chi, the Walton County Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, raises scholarship funds for graduating Walton County high school seniors. Applicants must be planning to pursue a career in education. Since 2000, Gamma Chi has given over $17,000 in grants to Walton County students. Click here to view the full application.
