Southern Region 4-H Teen Leadership Conference

The Southern Region 4-H Teen Leadership Conference (SRTLC) is scheduled for September 20-23, 2018, at the Clyde M. York 4-H Center in Crossville, TN. This event is open to senior 4-H members (ages 14-18, grades 9-12).

SRTLC is an outstanding opportunity to help youth develop leadership skills, citizenship skills, and help them find opportunities to put those skills to use in their community. Plus, it is one of the best ways to meet 4-H’ers from other states and learn about their 4-H programs!  Georgia information for the conference is available at: georgia4h.org/srtlc/.  A flyer to promote the conference is attached and is also available on the site.

The Georgia cost is $230.00 per 4-H’er this year. Registration deadline is August 30th.

Save the Date!

Good morning Social Circle!

We will be holding a FAFSA night at the high school for seniors and parents on Wednesday, November 7th from 6-8 PM. The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This is the platform students will use to apply for things like HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship, Pell Grant, and federal loans if you need them. I cannot stress how important it is to fill out the FAFSA to be eligible for all this FREE MONEY! We will have a financial aid expert come in to help students and parents fill out the application right then and there!

Please check back later for important information like what to bring/expect for this night.

Have a great day!
