In collaboration with the Newton County Chamber, please join
Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) for an informational session about
manufacturing careers. Come out and meet our student services and manufacturing
faculty, along with industry leaders from Mannington Mills, Pratt Industries,
and Fiber Vision Manufacturing. Representatives from the Northeast Georgia
Regional Workforce Development Board will be on-site to discuss WIOA
funded-training programs, and local support service agencies will be available
to discuss resources that support housing, veteran, and child care services.
Food will be provided.

- Tour GPTC's Advance Manufacturing Center and learn about academic programs that prepare individuals for careers in manufacturing
- Learn about the Newton Works fast track training program designed to prepare individuals for entry level employment in manufacturing
