Georgia Gwinnett College Is Coming to The Circle

Aaliyah Muhammad will be at Social Circle High School on October 1st during Redskin Advisement to meet with students who are interested in learning more about the closest four-year university option to SCHS.  This college is a great option for students wishing to live at home and commute to the campus over in Lawrenceville. Freshmen/Sophomores Student/Parent Night

On September 19th at 6 pm, the SCHS Guidance Department will host an hour of foundational information that will be helpful in setting up your student for success going forward.  We will meet in the cafeteria.  Both parents and students are encouraged to attend this information event!

On September 29th at the McCamish Pavillion on the campus of Georgia Tech, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) College Fair will take place.  This event is open to all, and will provide participants information about colleges that cater to the needs of students who want to major in one of these fields of discipline.

Kennesaw State University Is Coming to the Circle!!

Norma Nunez-Pacheco from the Admissions Office at Kennesaw State University will be with us on September 11th during Redskins Period.  Kennesaw is a public university in Georgia that offers many majors and opportunities!  It has grown into the second largest university in the state.  With so many people comes many great majors.  If you would like to come and learn more about this university, please complete the form below.

Juniors and seniors who turn in a permission form (Walton County PROBE Fair Permission Form) will be allowed to board the bus with SCHS to go over to this great College Fair, tomorrow (Sept. 5th at 9:30 AM).  Come ready to learn about a lot of great options for your future!!

Junior Senior Student/Parent Information Night

The SCHS Guidance Department  will lead a one hour information session designed to help parents and students prepare for life beyond high school. 

"Nothing awesome happens after high school by accident."

This meeting will be held in the cafeteria from 6 pm to 7 pm on September 12th.  This one hour can help students and parents avoid common mistakes with planning for the future.  We will see you then!
