Here is a brochure to help you learn more about this opportunity. WYAB Flyer
The Walton Youth Advocacy Board is recruiting rising 9-12
graders from Walton County Schools to join the 2019-2020 Youth Advocacy Board.
This is a great opportunity for youth who may not be involved in many
leadership positions in school or their community. Joining YAB is an awesome
experience for students to develop their leadership skills, learn more about
the county and create positive change. By joining the Board, members are asked
to attend one monthly meeting, complete at least 20 hours of volunteer service
during the year and attend other community events. These events include youth
leadership conferences, advocacy days at the State Capitol and fundraising
opportunities. All applications are due by 5 pm on April 19.
