If you have attended one of the Dual Enrollment Information meetings that has been offered at SCHS, you know that there are three colleges which SCHS students can dual enroll- Athens Tech, Georgia Military College (GMC) and Georgia State University. You will also remember that students wanting to dual enroll with GMC have to take an Accuplacer as a placement exam.
GMC will be at Social Circle High School on March 5th to give the Accuplacer to students who wish to dual enroll with them. This will prevent a drive to Madison to take this test! If you would like to take this exam, you must register by clicking the link below. Because of space, we will try to limit the number of test takers to 30, so do not wait to register.

This is the best opportunity to make connections with representatives from these colleges and universities, while you are able to learn some insider tricks from the experts!

What: Social Circle High School will offer the ACCUPLACER for juniors and seniors who need to take/retake the ACCUPLACER for college admissions. THIS IS NOT FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS!!
When: Saturday, March 23rd from 7:45am-12pm
DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND PAY IS MARCH 13TH!

How Much: The cost of the exam is $15. Please pay Ms. Justice by March 13th with cash or check. Make checks out to SCHS. Late payments cannot be accepted!

Reconciliation Day is March 8th- Clean Up Missing Work
Zeros in the grade book absolutely obliterate a student's average in a class. Each semester, the school has established a Reconciliation Day where students are given a dead line to make up missing work and retake tests to improve grades from the last nine weeks. March 8th is our Reconciliation Day for the third nine weeks. Opportunity to make up these zeros ends on the 8th and we will move forward into the final stretch of the school year. This is being done as a final courtesy to students to prevent summer school or not graduating.

The Circle Goes to Fort Valley State University!
This past Friday, we were able to take some of the Juniors and Seniors to Fort Valley State University! The students were able to experience the campus, interact with current students, and enjoy the dining hall! Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible!
