Dual Enrollment is a very popular program, where SCHS students have access to take college level courses from one of three local colleges: Athens Tech, Georgia State Perimeter Newton Campus or Georgia Military College. This program is available to Juniors and Seniors next year. If you are new to the Dual Enrollment program, and you are currently a 10th or 11th grader, there is a lot you need to learn about Dual Enrollment.
We will hold information sessions:
- Thursday, January 28th at 6 pm* in the high school cafeteria, face-to-face
- Friday, January 29th at 12 noon* in the media center, face-to-face
- Saturday, January 30th at 9 am* online- complete this form to get a link to this meeting
*these dates and times are subject to change if SCCS is on a remote instructional model.
Any student who is new to Dual Enrollment MUST attend one of these meetings with a parent or guardian.
This is the first requirement to be eligible to take Dual Enrollment classes next year. Remember, you only need to attend one of these meetings. The three meeting options are to allow all to have access to this important information.
